On January 29, 2016, Nansen Dialogue Centre Skopje hosted the Conference lectures with international experts on the topic “European and international concepts for integrated education and intercultural dialogue”. The Conference was held in the premises of Cair Municipality and was organized as part of the advanced level training program for integrated education within NDC Skopje Training Centre

The Conference was consisted of lectures from two distinguished international experts who are part of the international team of trainers within the Training Centre for integrated education. The first lecture was prepared by prof. Steinar Bryn, Ph.D. from the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue in Lilehammer, Norway on the topic “Integrated and intercultural education as a global trend and tendency” whereas the second lecture was prepared and delivered by prof. Zvi Bekerman, Ph.D. from the School of Education and The Melton Center, Hebrew University of Jerusalem on the topic “The bilingual integrated Palestinian- Arab/Jewish schools as a metaphor for a different reality- success or failure”. The lectures were followed by Q&A sessions with the program participants who shared their personal perspectives and experiences.

After the formal part of the Conference, five groups of participants from the advanced level training program, i.e. Groups 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11 were awarded Certificates for successful completion of the Advanced level training for integrated education. The participants were addressed by the Advisor to the Minister for education and science, Mr. Safet Neziri, NDC Skopje Executive Director, Mr. Sasho Stojkovski and Manager of the NDC Skopje Training Centre, Ms. Biljana Krsteska- Papic.

The Conference lectures were attended by nearly 100 teachers, professors and school associates who have successfully completed the advanced level training program for integrated education.
